Carpet takes more than 50 years to decompose and accounts for a significant amount of the world's landfill. Our Mission Zero® commitment led us to pioneer the world's most successful carpet recycling program, ReEntry®, which turns old carpet into new carpet, time and time again. Some manufacturers re-purpose carpet, but this only delays its environmental footprint.
McMats & InterfaceFLOR's Commitment To Reducing Landfill
Our commitment to reducing landfill extends to our competitors products, which we accept and encourage to be sent to us as part of our Carpet Take Back Program. McMats Carpets is working with Interface as part of their ReENTRY program. McMats accepts Interface products that are not suitable for their clients and onsells the carpet tiles to customers at a discount rate to prevent it from otherwise heading straight to landfill. Both companies have a strong sustainability policy and environmental ethics. They are working hand in hand to reduce the unnecessary amount of carpet and carpet tiles from going into landfill.
