When McMats Carpets sources its stock from high rise commercial office blocks, we take it back to the factory and grade the carpet out into A, B and C categories. What we label as our party carpet or the cheapest carpet we have in stock is put in the 'C' category. There is nothing wrong with this carpet per se, it just has more uneven wear (office marks) and uneven colour variation than what we would price otherwise in the 'A' and 'B' categories. In our experience, we have found that people have used this carpet in their actual homes without any real issues, simply because once you cover your space with furniture and bits and pieces, you only end up seeing approx 33% of your floor covering. Many people have walked out happy with this carpet, charged at $25 (ex gst) a broadloom metre (3.66 wide). We have a range of colours and styles in stock and are continually updating our stock.
